40 Developmental Assets: 40 Developmental Assets

Assets

As identified by the Search Institute, there are 40 developmental assets and the average student comes to school with about 19.  Successful students generally have at least 31 assets.

Every person a child comes in contact with can be an asset builder.

Urbana University faculty and students are working with Graham Local Schools to identify resources that can be used in the school district to help build assets.
